OMG! I know how Maria felt making my gift last year but I've never taken this much attention to grass in a digital pic before. I can't believe I nearly drew every single blade. Anyways, I wanted to depict how much I really like Maria as a friend and how much she brightens up my day every time we talk. One again I apologize for taking so long but I was dreading the grass like no other. But as always, you're worth it. I hope you like it Maria.
BTW, it's a BIG pic, so feel free to make posters!
... seriously, this is bloody brilliant. Hey, you seem to be a veteran when comes to digitally doing stuff to pictures. So please, HOW THE HECK DO I GET MY STUFF LOOKING LIKE THIS?! Sketches, no problem, but how, god, oh god, HOW do I do the fancy high-tech colouring thingy?! Is there some kind of awesome, miracle computer program that SOMEHOW colours like this? Because it doesn't look like paint. But all frenzied questions aside, this is seriously good. Crona seems happy. XD
i wont lie, it's trickier to digitally paint. You have to think of what colors make what and you can't mix the paints until you get what you like. the plus side to that is that you can always go back and redo it digitally if you mess up. i personally think that it depends on the learning curve of the artist... its all about asking around to see what others do and then seeing what works best for you...
Well, to be honest, I can't paint by hand. At all. Or any kind of colouring, really. I recently got Halo: Reach for my new Xbox 360 and I tried to copy the box art by hand, just for drawing practice. It looked awful, and the colouring did not look neat at all, even though I tried my best. So, if you don't mind me asking, what program would I have to scour the net for to achieve ultimate colour and sketch-enhancing tools for?
Btw Crona looks like she's missing a wing...
and thank you, i can see that. lol. makes a good icon. i should do a new one of them.
hehe
